Report: Spirthill Trail

Congratulations to Carl Davies on winning the 4th Off Road Series event, the Spirthill Trail. He is now only one point behind the leader, Michael Towler.
The race, held on a lovely day, was very tough with lots of mud, running down deep hollows and then back up again, through a wood, twisting and turning between the trees. It was very well marked and marshalled.
Kevin Gover ran well to finish 5th man and Martin Croucher was 18th.
Liz Clark ran a brave race in the 5.5 km event in spite of a bad ankle.
