Avon Valley Runners dominated the Semington Stomp 5K multi-terrain race. Michael Towler led home the field in a winning time of 17:50 followed by Carl Davies in 18:55 and Stuart Avery in 19:21 to complete a 1-2-3. In the ladies race Sue MacGregor led home in 23:10 just ahead of Linda Ladner in 23:25 and Rosemary Barber in 24:18 making the second 1-2-3 of the evening.
Avon Valley Runners also laid claim to the 1st MV40 with Richard Morgetroyd finishing 4th overall, 1st FV40 going to Kathy Kinsey and 1st FV50 going to Tina Towler.
Avon Valley Runners also laid claim to the Mixed team prize with Michael Towler, Carl Davies, Stuart Avery & Sue MacGregor all winning free entry into the forthcoming Foxtrot 5 Road Race.
