Over the Hills

This has now been changed into a Virtual Event

Over the Hills

It is with great sadness and after much consultation and discussion I am announcing that due to unforeseen complications we are having to change the 2020 Over The Hills race into a virtual event.

Please accept my heartfelt and humble apologies for any inconvenience that this causes to any of our runners.

The 2020 OTH virtual event will start on November the 1st, continuing to raise funds for Alzheimer’s support. Results will be hosted on the DB Max platform with 1st, 2nd and 3rd and category prizes delivered to local participants and individual mementos sent out in the post to all who enter.

All 2020 OTH virtual entrants will be able to “get in first” with the OTH 2021 event link emailed to them 2 weeks ahead of next year race launch and at the held 2020 price of £15 affiliated £17, alternatively you can email us direct throughout September to have a full refund or even choose to donate your entry fee instead.

Entry into the virtual event Is really simple, you do not need to do anything further if you have already entered and paid. Just check your event email when it arrives in October for full details.

We do only have 200 spaces for the virtual event available please check back during September for any additional availability.

Throughout the month of November you just need to run a 12k (7.5 miles approx) run using any route with at least a 500 ft minimum elevation, basically you will need to add in a nice hill!! (We like to call them mounds of opportunity).

Then upload your results to the DB Max OTHs results page which will be launched in November adding the Strava link (non Strava users can email us for an alternative option).
