We, the organisers, are looking forward to the new 5x5 starting and finishing at the Longs Arms, Steeple Ashton, in 2 week's time.
We hope you will enjoy it – there is a new finish which is just next to the pub. This will be the first AVR Off Road Championship event for 2019, probably the shortest as well, so come and enjoy yourselves.
Yes! On the day entries will cost you more this year than entering on line (although not very much more) – but it is so much easier to administer if you have entered in advance. Each entrant who completes 3 events will receive a medal.

Three days later there is the much tougher second AVR Off Road Championship event – the Lungbuster – with two lovely hills (well the same one twice) to climb. It is also a Wiltshire County Championship event, the last of the 2018/2019 season. Can we retain 1st place?

… and the following Thursday we are organising the Tony Bartlett Mile which starts (and finishes) at the Club House in Bradford-on-Avon. Enter on the day for this closed AVR event.<?p>

After that the Off Road season continues with three more 5x5 events, each on the first Thursday of the month, but no more Off Road Championships until next Autumn – these have not yet been announced.
