Road and Off Road Running

Here is a list of recommended events for the next five weeks:

Don't forget many of these races are now filling up fast, so get your entry in early, so in some cases I have selected a choice of two events the same day.

Sunday, 18th June
Lacock Abbey
Due to overhwhelming demand and 3 years of sell out races, the Lacock races will be this year transitioning from the trails and on to the roads! This will be a fully closed road event taking in the tranquil and picturesque lanes of the Wiltshire Countryside and through the historic streets of Lacock itself. It is an ideal race for the first time runne and you can expect to post a good time on this flat course.
The race starts on the main high street overlooking the Abbey. The route heads out of town and over some lovely stone bridges over the river Avon. There is a slight rise before the first turn coming in at 10km. Beautiful country roads wind road to the hamlet of Reybridge with lovely thatched roofed buildings lining the narrow streets.
